About problems with Server list or Renderer list

• In case servers can not be found.
• "Server does not discase content count" is displayed[only MLPlayer]

About problems with contents list

• No content files can be found.
• "Failed to receive content list." is displayed.
• About meaning of icons(green,yellow,red) added on thumbnails.

About problems with playing contents

• Pictures can not be showed.
• Audio files can not be played.
• Video files can not be played.
• Support of AirPlay?
• Low resolution AlbumArt is displayed in MLPlayer.

About problems with server functions [only MLPlayer]

• Contents taken with the iPhone/iPod touch are not displayed.

• 1.Check network connection with your server
• Access settings of your server by using Safari.
  About address of your server, check manual of the server.

• 2.Check your device is permitted access by server.

• 3.Check media server is available.
• About settings of your server, check manual of the server.

• 4.MLPlayer sends M-SEARCH request to your server.
• Tap button on the server list.

• Only server supported Cross-Server Search, check following list.

• 1.Check network connection with your renderer

2.Check your device is permitted access by renderer.

• 3.MLPlayer sends M-SEARCH request to your renderer.

About display of contents list

• In some case, server needs update databese when it add new contents,therefore Media Link Player Lite can display of contents list.Please, check manual of the server about the need for updating databese.

• 1.Check your device is permitted access by server.

• 2.It seems that response of your server is delay
• Tap back button, then redisplay contents list.

• 3.It seems that your server is updating database
• After your server had updated database, redisplay contents list.

About problems with playing contents

• It supports picture format of following list. Please check following list.
• >>play back the picture formats

• It supports audio format of following list. Please check following list.

• Yes, MLPlayer version since 1.2.3, MLPlayer Lite version since 1.2.0, and MLPlayer Lite for iPad version since 1.1.0 supports the AirPlay.
• We confirmed that video and audio which supported by MLPlayer are playable with AirPlay.

• MLPlayer displays AlbumArt that is shared by the server. If the server share low resolution AlbumArt, MLPlayer displays low resolution image.

About problems with server functions [only MLPlayer]

• Contents taken with the iPhone/iPod touch maintain the location information, and turn on MLPlayer of the [Settings] >> [Location Services].
• * These settings are needed for access to picture library. MLPlayer does not collect any location service log.
• Then tap "Settings > Advanced Setting > Camera Roll" of MLPlayer, tap the Sync button.

• In the case of synchronized audio from iTunes
• Restart MLPlayer and tap "Settings > Advanced Setting > Camera Roll" of MLPlayer, tap the Sync button.


• About quit MLPlayer
• Double-click the home button to display the recently accessed applications.
  Press and hold the MLPlayer icon, then tap the red circled minus button, and once again tap MLPlayer icon.

• There are not image contents in your device.
  Then tap "Settings > Advanced Setting > Camera Roll" of MLPlayer, tap the Sync button.

• MLPlayer doesn't play and share MP3 contents in WAV (RIFF) container format.
  We have confirmed the latest version of MLPlayer automatically ignores these contents and operates correctly on iOS4.3.
  Please update iOS and MLPlayer to the latest version or delete MP3 contents in WAV (RIFF) format from the library of iPhone/iPod touch.

• No. At present, MLPlayer(server functions) does not support sharing movie content.

About problems with multi-tasking

• Media Link Player Lite (free version) does not support multi-tasking.

• We have confirmed that iPod applications(audio player etc.) may behave in an erratic way when MLPlayer is background.
  If this problem arises, please restart MLPlayer.


• About restart MLPlayer
• Double-click the home button to display the recently accessed applications.
  Press and hold the MLPlayer icon, then tap the red circled minus button, and once again tap MLPlayer icon.
